Sir Tom Finney joins Preston Mayor Pat Woods to drink to 'Fairtrade City' status
On Tuesday 5 July 2004 Preston's soccer legend Sir Tom Finney took time to drink a cup of Fairtrade Coffee at the Town Hall with new Mayor Councillor Pat Woods and members of the Preston Fairtrade Steering Group (Anne Garsed, Cath Greenlees, Neil Kelsall), to celebrate Preston's new status as Fairtrade City. He also signed a Fairtrade football which was raffled at Ashton High School-Preston's first high school to achieve Fairtrade status.
